On most modern dual-SIM or dual-eSIM phones, your USA eSIM operates as a second line. Your home number stays active for apps tied to it, while your USA eSIM handles US talk, SMS, or data.
If you're on USA Starter or USA Value, talk and SMS work over cellular, but internet apps need WiFi. USA Premium's 1GB covers light data without WiFi, but isn't for heavy streaming.
Your 30-day plan validity begins when you activate the eSIM, not when you buy it — so if you're buying ahead of a trip, you can purchase now and activate closer to your travel date.
